Catherine David Creates Inspired NZ Design Products From New Zealand
Catherine David graduated with an honours degree in Design from Auckland School in 1992. In 2009 she graduated with a Masters degree in “Museums and Cultural Heritage” – a curating degree.
Catherine David started her NZ design career with a variety of soft furnishings and bed linen. A collection of this range has been archived by the Auckland War Memorial Museum, New Zealand. Catherine David NZ Design L.T.D now designs and manufactures a variety of functional homeware products which are distributed through New Zealand and globally. The range covers a large number of materials and functions.

* Catherines brand – Catherine David Designs remains a NZ design leader with an expanding variety of products which now include lamps, light fittings, tableware and stationery, always attention-grabbing in their originality and show.
* The shower curtain range won the New Zealand Home and Entertaining Award in 2005 for best lavatory design product.
* Catherine David has recently completed post graduate studies achieving a Pros in a curating degree.
In her spare time Catherine David is concerned in the art of Icon writing with a Russian art teacher.
