Improving photography skills on Nikon Coolpix S210?
I currently have a Nikon Coolpix S210 and am looking into buying a more professional DSLR camera and getting more into photography. I know the S210 isn’t that good a camera technically, but I would like to look into settings and stuff like that which i will need to understand and use if/when i get a better camera.
The only main thing I know is ISO.
Are there any other camera things that I can do with the S210 that will then carry through higher levels of photography?
And I’m basically a beginner in technical stuff, so anything really…
Read about photography . Look at the work of the ‘Masters’. Shoot in all the modes that your camera offers. Study what you shoot. Keep improvising on lighting, composition etc. (they are in no way camera dependent)
Buying an expensive camera (DSLR) is the easiest aspect of photography which doesn’t takes a person on any higher level on its own.
