The Minister of Health Darko Milinovic will sign the new regulations that would guide maternity centers located outside of hospices and which may lead to the re-opening of a few in Makarska, Sinj, Imotski and Djakovo.
The new rule book will lower minimum technical standards for these motherhood centers, which would “with a woman’s consent – be well placed to administer regular births, without predictable pathologies.
The Ministry’s inspector is anticipated to go to the centers in the following 10 days to resolve whether they satisfy the minimum standards. When they satisfy maximum standards, they’ll be ready to administer all births, writes tagza.com.
