Which of these is a better lighting kit?
I need some entry level lights for a very basic home studio. I do nothing professional, but I do portraits fairly often for friends and family. My mother in law gave me gift card for christmas to get some photo lights! Here are the two I am looking at.

I have done a small amount of reading up on portrait photography lighting and from what I understand, a hair light is important. However the kit that comes with a hair light, is a very low wattage. So which is more important?
I really know nothing about these so any help would be appreciated. I am limited to amazon.com, and also to a budget of about $200.

My choice would be the kit with the two softboxes. It’s easier to feather your lighting when it comes through a modifier with an edge. Also, umbrellas can be purchased later for less than a softbox. Keep a softbox up high for your key and you’ll get some light on the hair. You really don’t need anything crazy for a backdrop. Buy a white or black sheet. Improvise a stand and you’ll be good.
