Prerequisite for photography class?
My friend and I were looking over a photography course description on the website of a college and saw that there is a Prerequisite that requires any 100 level Art Studio Class or COI. We have both taken photography classes at our high school but since we have never taken an Art Studio class we don’t meet the 100 level prerequisite that the class requires. My question is does COI stand for conflict on interest? Could we get into the class because we know how to handle a film camera and are interested? anyone have any ideas?
COI = Consent of instructor
Just talk to your instructor and based upon your previous experience and classes in photography, they will usually let you attend their class.
Be sure to ask what cameras you will need to take the class. Many require you to have a 35 mm SLR and standard lens
