The wind is also a major consideration. You don’t want photos wherein the hair of the bride is covering half of her face because of the wind. Proper Timing
You should always keep your eye on the tides during a beach wedding. During low tide, you can do away with the waves that could destroy the wedding set up and finery. But the lowest tide may only last for a few hours, so you have to hurry. It is also a challenge to look for the perfect spot on the seashore to take photos. Choose a spot where you can see the sun in the viewfinder.
Photography Needs
A beach wedding photographer should be ready with tools to cope with the beach weather and ambiance. The sand can get inside your bag and you should be able to cover your lenses in this situation. Sand is one of the things that can irrevocably cause damage to lenses. You also need to make sure your bags or pockets are water tight.
