Question about selling stock photography?
If you put your pictures up onto a stock photography selling site, and people buy a picture, are you selling the rights to that picture, or can you continue selling it as many times as you want? I want to sell my pictures online but I don’t want to give them away in the sense that “I” can’t use or sell them anymore. How does it work?
You are selling a license to use the image.
Unless you are selling for “exclusive” use then you can sell those rights as many times as you want.
Even with exclusive use it is for a limited time and after that period is over then you can sell to others.
